Our Lagos Constituents complained, we responded!
Having received communications from the Epe federal lawmaker, Rep. Wale Raji, several stakeholders and our constituents in Lagos on the urgent need to address the deteriorating state of EPE – KETU – ITOIKIN ROAD, LAGOS – a federal road connecting several rural and agricultural communities to other parts of Lagos and other states.
I adopted the road as a Federal constituency project to be attracted to our dear state given the contributory value of this road to the ongoing Eleko – IbejuLekki -Epe T junction expressway project already embarked on by the Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu administration.
We know the Epe Division corridor hosts the first privately owned petroleum refinery in Nigeria amongst other economic potentials.
This project has commenced and I am impressed with the progress of work on the first section of the Epe – Ketu – Itoikin Road.
This federal intervention on the Rehabilitation/Reconstruction of the 18.3KM EPE – KETU – ITOIKIN ROAD starts from TEMU – OKEOSHO to SHALA VILLAGE through KETU Town and terminates at ITOIKIN Junction link to Ikorodu in Lagos – State, and Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State. While Section 1 from TEMU to KETU-EPE is under construction, Section 2 (KETU – ITOIKIN Road and Bridge) is to commence in 2021
