Apple is ready for a new event.
Today Tuesday, September 15, the company will hold a virtual presentation in which they will show part of their catalog for the second half of 2020.
As usual, the event can be followed live and direct from various sources. It will start at 6pm (Nigeria time) and you can enjoy it from:
- The official Apple channel on YouTube. This is one of the best options, considering the huge number of devices supported by the service.
- The official page of Apple. Just enter the page and wait for the transmission. It is compatible with Chrome, Safari and Edge.
- The Apple TV app. All devices that have the app, including Apple, can follow the event from here. It should be noted that there are some televisions,
- even multimedia players, with support for the app.
When the event was announced a few days ago, it was suspected that the iPhone 12 would be the protagonists. But apparently, we will get a surprise: according to rumors, the iPad and Apple Watch will be the products that see the light tomorrow.
Specifically, there is talk of a new generation of iPad Air with a completely renewed design. It would borrow the lines from the iPad Pro, forgetting about the home button and adding FaceID. Also, this model would welcome the USB-C connector.
The Apple Watch would be the other protagonist of the event. This sixth generation would arrive with important developments in health functions, especially with the possibility of measuring the level of oxygen in the blood. The design would remain intact.
But this model would not arrive alone, reports indicate that there will be a companion that will function as a replacement for the Apple Watch Series 3. A smart watch that will attack the market with a great price-specification ratio. It would be the entry range for the Apple Watch this year.
Release dates for new versions of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and even tvOS are also expected to be revealed during the event . The “gold” versions of these systems would be announced as soon as the event was over, to be released to the general public a few days later.
Without having confirmation on the products that will be revealed, we have to consider any possible surprises. Maybe those much-rumored AirTags, Apple’s over-ear headphones or the iPhone 12. It’s unlikely, but Apple might have that trick up its sleeve.
