After leaving his mother and Mitch he went to his office in the city for a board meeting. He felt good about how things went with his mother. He was angry at first, but Paige made him realize that she was still a woman and deserved to be loved, and Mitch was a good guy. At his office, the meeting went longer than he thought it would.

There were several issues that needed to be taken care of. He called Paige to let her know he wouldn’t be home until later that night, and that he was going to have dinner brought in for his employees and himself. This was something that rarely happened but when it did she was always understanding.

Paige went into the children’s bedroom to check on them before going to bed. Gabriel had called to say he was on his way home. She was in her room when she heard him coming in, she turned to him with a smile on her face. “I’ve missed you.”

“I’m so sorry for being late,” he said, removing his jacket and shirt.

“It’s OK, I understand there was a problem you had to take care of,” she said, going over to the table and poured him a drink of scotch. It was something she always did when he had to work late. “I take it the problem has been solved?” she asked, handing him the glass.

“Yes, and I really have to keep a better eye on what goes on in the office.”

“I’m dying to know how it went with your mother and Mitch.”

He looked at her, she had on a cute little dress. “It went really good but I’ll tell you all about it later.”

“Why can’t you tell me now?”

“Because I want to do this,” he said, pulling her into his arms. His lips went to hers, kissing her with all the love and desire that was building inside him as he lowered her down onto the bed. He loved how she always returned his kiss, never denying him what he wanted.

“Oh Gabriel,” she moaned into his mouth when she felt his hand moving up her leg and under her dress. She raised her hips, letting him pull down her panties and felt his fingers working their magic inside her. Arching her back when she felt herself coming as he moved his mouth from her lips down her neck.

She gasped when he ripped the front of her dress, exposing her breasts and started licking and sucking on them, she was now glad she wasn’t wearing a bra. Little beads of sweat formed on her body, her core was throbbing and all she felt was an extreme pleasure when he slid inside her, filling her with his length. “Gabriel, stop teasing me,” she moaned out loud when he kept moving up and down slowly.

Placing his hands on either side of her he lifted his body up to look at her. Her eyes were glazed over, her tongue swiped over her bottom lip and she had this fuck me look on her face. He loved watching the expression on her face when she was highly excited and wanted release.

Making sure she came more than once it was time to bring them both to an earth-shattering orgasm. He began thrusting faster, making her scream and he felt her fingers digging into his back, her legs wrapped around him and when she moved in such a way that made him lose control he gave them both what they wanted. He laid on top of her, her dress laid in shreds by the edge of the bed. Rolling onto his side he turned his head to look at her while he tried to catch his breath.

“That was amazing,” he said, taking hold of her hand.
She looked back at him, all smiles. “It always is and you just keep getting better every year.” She snuggled up into his arms, resting her head on his sweaty chest. “Tell me about what happened at your mother’s place.”

He told her everything, and how he said they could have the wedding at their place and about remodelling the guest house. “I know I should have discussed all of this with you first.”

She smiled up at him. “It’s OK. I love the thought of them living here and the children will be so thrilled to have their grandmother so close. I can’t wait to help her with the wedding. I’ve always wanted for us to be a closer family and thank you for doing this for them.”

“I also invited them to dinner so that we could discuss the wedding and what to do with the guest house. They may have to stay here when she sells her apartment and until the remodelling is finished.”

“I’ll have a suite fixed up for them,” she said, reaching up she kissed him.

The next evening Kaia and Mitch showed up, bringing Paige’s favourite wine. They all sat around in the living room with the children and told them that their grandmother and Mitch were getting married and would be living in the guest house. They were so happy, they loved Mitch as much as they loved the others.

When the children settled down and were busy playing with their toys Paige sat next to Kaia and they started going over the wedding plans. “I have to take you shopping for a wedding dress. I know this quaint little dress shop where they have the most beautiful wedding gowns.”

“I really don’t want a big fuss, just something plain and simple.”

Before dinner was served the two women had a guest list written out, what flowers they would need and a menu picked out. The men just chuckled when they saw how excited the two were, they themselves discussed the plans for the guest house. Later after dinner and the children were bathed and tucked into bed the adults opened up the wine and sat around, making more plans for the wedding. When almost everything was planned out Kaia and Mitch went back to her place.

When Gabriel and Paige were in bed she noticed how quiet he was so she asked him if something was bothering him.

“I was watching you tonight, how your face lit up when you and my mother were making the wedding plans. I was wondering if you feel you were cheated out of having a wedding of your dream.”

“I don’t feel like I was cheated. We did get married under unusual circumstances but I ended up with the best husband in the world.”

“We could have a real wedding and renew our vows.”

“Gabriel, that’s not what I want. I’m just having fun helping your mother plan her wedding. I’m happy with the way things are. But I do love that you were thinking about it, but no, I don’t want a wedding.”

The next day after having breakfast the children went off to play, Gabriel and Paige went for a walk through the garden. He stooped down and picked some flowers for her, for some reason she liked it better than having him buy them from a flower shop. Going back inside he went to his office, as soon as he entered he saw the mess on his desk. An ink bottle was tipped over, spilling onto some papers he was working on. He buzzed for one of the maids, asking her to tell Paige to come to his office.

Walking into his office she could tell he was mad. “Gabriel, what’s wrong?”

“Come over here and look at this mess.”

Seeing the mess she looked at him. “How did this happen?”

“The kids must have been playing in here. They know they aren’t allowed in here unless we are with them.” “How do you know it was the children?”

He picked up a barbie doll that was laying under the desk and held it up. “This sure doesn’t belong to me. Go get them both, I want to see if they will admit to being in here.”

She knew he was furious and was worried about what he was going to do. “I’ll get them, but please calm down before you speak to them. Remember they are children, not one of your employees.” Before he could answer her she fled the room and went to get Lorenzo and Anna-Lisa from their lesson.

Anna-Lisa held tightly onto her mother’s hand when they walked into the office, Lorenzo walked beside them without a care in the world.

Gabriel sat behind his desk, motioning for the children to come close. Paige stood by the door, watching and listening. He stared at each child, his face was set in stone. “Were either one of you in here without permission?”

No father,” Lorenzo said, staring back at him.

He looked at Anna-Lisa. “How about you?”

Her eyes filled with tears. Her lips trembled as she looked down at the floor, avoiding her father’s eyes. “No daddy.”

Gabriel let out a sigh. “I know that one of you was in here and if the person who made this mess doesn’t tell me the truth then I’ll have to punish both of you. You both know never to lie to me or your mother.”

Lorenzo, not wanting his little sister to get into trouble spoke up. “Don’t punish Anna-Lisa, it was me who came in here and spilled the ink over your desk.”

“What were you doing in here?”

“I-I was looking for some paper, to draw on,” he replied, stammering a little.

Gabriel held back the smile that was itching to come out, he knew his son was only trying to protect his sister. He was wondering if she would also protect him. “Well, then you must be punished.”

Anna-Lisa snapped her head up to look at her father. “No daddy, don’t punish him, it was me. I was playing in here and knocked over the ink bottle. I’m sorry daddy, I won’t do it again.”

He ran his hand over his face before picking his daughter up and putting her on his knee. When he saw a tear rolling down her little face he used his thumb to wipe it away. “Are you really sorry and do you promise never to come in here alone?”

“Yes daddy, I promise.”

He put his arm around her, kissing the top of her head and looked over at Lorenzo. “I’m proud of you for trying to protect your sister, but you lied to me, which is wrong. I must punish you both.”

Paige covered her mouth, she was terrified as to what he was going to do. This was the first time he had ever mentioned punishing the children.

Gabriel looked over at her and saw how worried she was. He turned his attention back to the children. “I’ve heard that the cook is making your favourite dessert tonight, strawberry cheesecake with homemade whip cream.” He knew how much they both loved it, always asking for seconds. “There will be no dessert for either one of you tonight. Now I want you to go to your rooms and think about what you’ve done, and no more lying.” He gave Anna-Lisa a kiss on the cheek before putting her down.

“Yes father,” Lorenzo said, taking hold of his sister’s hand.

Gabriel picked up the doll and handed it to his little girl.

“Thank you, daddy, I love you,” she said, hugging him around his waist before leaving with Lorenzo.

As they walked passed Paige she ran her hands over their heads. She then went over to Gabriel. “You handled that well,” she said, putting her arms around his neck.

“Did you think I was going to spank them?”

“You were so angry and I wasn’t sure.”

“I am not my father. I will never raise a hand to either one of them.”

“You’re nothing like your father, that’s one of the reasons why I love you so much. It was sweet how Lorenzo tried to take the blame to keep Anna-Lisa from getting into trouble. They are really great kids.”

“Yes, they are great kids.” He put his hands around her waist. “Now that the children have been sent to their rooms it’s time for us to get down and dirty,” he said, his mouth going to her neck and he started kissing down to the top of her breasts.

“Gabriel, the help might walk in.”

Growling he released her and walked over to the door and locked it. “Now they won’t be able to,” he said, putting his fingers on his zipper pulled it down. “You better hurry up and remove your dress before I get to you.

A smile broke out on her face when she heard the zipper on his pants being pulled down, her core started to throb. She began removing her clothes, watching as he did the same. His member was already hard and ready for action, a gasp escaped her mouth when he pulled her down onto the floor and climbed on top of her. She placed her hands on his ass when he entered her. There was no foreplay, just hot sex but she didn’t mind, he always made up for it later on.

He was so horny he couldn’t be bothered with all of the other things she liked, he took her hard and fast, getting the release he needed. When he was finished he started kissing her, moving down her body and stopping to take one of her breasts in his mouth. Now he would give her a great deal of sexual pleasure, she was going to get the full-body treatment, from head to toes.
Two days later Paige and Kaia went shopping for a wedding dress, going to the most famous shops in Italy. She tried on several dresses, each one was not to her liking. One was too fancy, one was too young for a woman her age and she didn’t feel that wearing white was appropriate for her.

Paige could tell she was getting upset so she rooted through a rack of dresses until she found the one she thought Kaia might like. Going over she hands it to her. “Try this one on and see what you think.”

Kaia felt the material and smiled. “It feels so soft and I do like the shade.”

Paige went and sat down while the clerk helped Kaia into the dress. She stood up when they returned. “Oh, Kaia. You look stunning, it’s almost like the dress was made for you,” she said, admiring her. It was simple but elegant, a long, ivory color dress that shaped her curves.

She went over to the mirror and stared at her reflection, her eyes teared up
She went over to the mirror and stared at her reflection, her eyes teared up. “This is such an amazing dress. I feel so young and beautiful in it.”

Paige went over to her. “You are young and beautiful. Mitch is going to love it and he’ll need to wipe the drool from his mouth when he sees you in it.” It made her feel good to see her mother-in-law so happy. They had grown so close, Kaia was the closest thing to a mother since she didn’t have one growing up.

She hugged Paige. “This is definitely the dress for me. Now we must get you a dress and an outfit for the children.”

After three more hours of shopping, they headed home, Kaia and Mitch were having dinner with the family and they were going to go over the final details to the wedding.

Exactly three months from the day that they told Gabriel that they were getting married it was the day of the wedding. Lorenzo was dressed in his little tux and Anna-Lisa wore a cute little white dress with flowers in her hair and carrying a white basket with rose petals in it to toss down the aisle. Paige wore a long red dress with a slit up one side. Their home was swarming with people, extra staff was brought in to cater the meal, a live band was hired. The ceremony and the reception were to be held outside.

Gabriel was getting ready to go see his mother when Paige came into the living room. His eyes sparkled with admiration when he saw how beautiful she looked. “You look amazing in that dress.” Going over he placed his hand on her cheek. “Thank you for everything you’ve done in helping my mother with her wedding. I love you with all of my heart.”

“She’s like a mother to me and I enjoyed doing it. You better go get your mother now, the wedding is about to start.”

“You must give me a kiss first,” he said. Pulling her into his arms he gave her a long and passionate kiss.”

After wiping off the lipstick from his mouth she went and got the children. Lorenzo was already with Mitch at the altar since he was the best man, Anna-Lisa, the flower girl and Gabriel was going to walk his mother down the aisle. She then went and took her seat just as the wedding march began. She smiled brightly when her daughter walk down the aisle scattering rose petals along the way. Then her eyes teared up when she saw Gabriel and Kaia. After the priest asked ‘who gives this woman away’ and Gabriel said he did he then went and sat down next to Paige, taking her hand in his.

Once they were pronounced man and wife they kissed. After all of the hugs and kisses and congratulations were given the staff started handing out glasses of champagne. There was way over two hundred guests, many of them were people Kaia had met when she bought her apartment. Others were friends and business associates of Gabriel’s and Kaia.

Mitch walked over to Gabriel and Paige, carrying a glass of champagne for them. “I want to thank you both for giving us this wedding. Everything is perfect.”

“I have never seen my mother this happy.”

“I will make sure she stays happy. Gabriel, I really do love her.”

Paige sensed that the two men wanted to talk so she made up an excuse to leave. “I have to go check on the kids, they’re already getting into mischief.”

When she was gone, Mitch turned to him, reached into his pocket and handed Gabriel a small envelope. “This just arrived for you. I’m not sure what’s in it but I was told that they found someone you might want to check out. It could be a lead or it could also be a dead end.”

He took what Mitch handed him and stuck it in his pocket, not wanting Paige to see it. “I’ll put it in my safe until later. Today we celebrate your marriage, there will be no more talk about business.”

After an hour of socializing it was announced that dinner was about to be served. It was a twelve-course meal and began as soon as everyone was seated. Paige was pleased that the evening turned out to be a beautiful night. Over a dozen staff served the guests, starting with the bride and groom.

Later Kaia and Mitch started off the dance, shortly were joined by the others. Gabriel held Paige close, his arms going around her waist. “I love this dress. I can reach down and slide my hand inside to feel your leg,” he said, moving his hand down but got stopped when she grabbed it.

“Don’t be so naughty in front of the guests,” she said, giggling.

“We could slip into the bathroom for a few minutes.” He placed his lips on the side of her neck and felt himself getting hard.

“Gabriel, not now.”

“OK Angel, but later we will.”

Finishing their dance she told him she was going to check on the kids, to make sure they were asleep.

“The children are fine, Beverly is with them. But if you must then go ahead. But don’t take too long coming back or I’ll come looking for you, and you know what will happen when I find you.”

Rolling her eyes at him she knew full well what he was getting at. “I shall be back before you have a chance to miss me.” Giving him a quick kiss left to go inside.

After going to each of the children’s room and seeing they were fast asleep gave them a kiss on their forehead and left to go back outside. Walking down the stairs and just when she turned the corner, Gordon Pavey, one of Kaia’s friends stepped out in front of her. “Mr. Pavey, what are you doing in this part of the house, it’s off-limits to the guests?” “I saw you come in so I followed you and waited for you to come down.”

“Why?” she asked, not liking the way he was looking at her and seeing he was drunk.

“I wanted some time alone with you, to get to know you better. Your husband is a very lucky man to have such a young and beautiful wife.”

“He is also very possessive and will not take kindly to the way you are looking and talking to me. You are drunk so I think you better go back to the others and have some coffee to sober up,” she said and walked away only to be grabbed and pushed up against the wall.

“Now where do you think you’re going? I’m not done with you yet,” he said, grabbing her arms pinned them down and tried to kiss her.

“Let go of me,” she yelled, turning her head to prevent him from kissing her on the mouth. She was about to scream out for help when she felt Gordon being pulled away from her. She covered her mouth to stifle her scream when she saw Gabriel punch the man, making him fall to the floor. “Gabriel, stop,” she cried out when he got down and continued beating him.

One of the servers who witnessed what was going on rushed outside and over to Mitch, letting him know what was going on.

Excusing himself from the gentleman he was talking to rushed inside where he found Gabriel on top of Gordon, punching him in the face. He got behind him pulling him up and off of the man. “Gabriel, that’s enough, you’re going to kill him.”

His eyes were dark as he stared into Gordon’s eyes. “You are a guest in my home and you have the nerve to attack my wife, no one touches her and gets away with it.”

Just then Kaia and Gordon’s wife entered the room, seeing her husband on the floor ran to him and got down on her knees beside him, looking up at Gabriel. “What have you done to my husband?”

“He attacked my wife and he’s lucky that all he got was a beating. Now take your drunken fool of a husband and get out of my home.”

She got to her feet and look down at her husband still laying on the ground. “Gordon, how can you do this again.” She looked over at Gabriel. “I’m so sorry, we will leave right away.”

After seeing that Paige was all right Kaia walked Gordon’s wife out. She liked Havana, they had become quite good friends even though she never did like him. “Havana, he has done this to you before, he is a cheater and a drunk. Leave him, divorce him before he really hurts you or someone else.”

Meanwhile, Gabriel went over to Paige, touching her cheek tenderly. “Did he hurt you?”

She shook her head. “No, he didn’t.”

Gabriel looked back over at Mitch. “Go back and enjoy the party, we’ll be out shortly.”

When he was gone she lifted Gabriel’s hand up to look at it. “You have blood on your hand. Come with me into the kitchen and we’ll wash it off before we go back outside.”

He followed quietly behind her, he wasn’t sure if she was angry with him for what he had done to Gordon or not. No one was in the kitchen when they got there and he waited while she got a damp towel and started cleaning off his hand. “Angel, are you angry with me?”

“No, I am not angry. I was a little scared when you kept hitting him. You could have killed him if Mitch hadn’t stopped you.”

His eyes stared into hers. “You know I will kill any man who touches or hurts you.”

“Killing is not the answer, it will only land you in jail and then what would I do without you? Please, do not do anything that will take you away from me and the children.”

“Alright, I promise. It’s just that when I saw him with his hands on you, trying to force a kiss on you all I could see was red.”

Placing the towel down she takes his face in her hands. “I love how possessive and protected of me you are, but you must control your temper. Violence does not solve anything, it only creates more drama.”

He looked into her eyes, eyes that could turn him into mush. “Kiss me.”

She looked at him, narrowing her eyes. “What?”

“I said, kiss me,” he said in a demanding tone.

Still, with her hands on his face, she brought her lips down onto his. The moment their lips touched he put his arms around her waist, pulling her in closer, the kiss turned more passionate. He turned her around so that her back was up against kitchen cabinets, his hand moving to the slit in her dress. He stopped when he heard someone clearing their throat. Removing his mouth from hers he turned in the direction of the person who dared to interrupt them. “What is it?” he asked the young female sever whose face turned red.

“I was told to come to get you and Mrs. Maestri. The newlyweds are leaving on their honeymoon and wish to speak with you.”

Paige could tell that Gabriel was making the young woman nervous so she gave her a warm smile. “Thank you, we’ll be right out.”

“Yes ma’am,” the woman said and left the room.

“Gabriel, must you be so gruff with the servers?”

“She interrupted us, and just when I was about to cop a feel.”

Rolling her eyes she takes his hand. “Let’s go say goodbye to your mother and Mitch before they leave for Tahiti.”

Gabriel hugged his mother than shook Mitch’s hand. “Have a great honeymoon and we’ll see you in three weeks. Just so you know, I will not be calling you father,” he said, chuckling.

Once the limousine took off with the happy couple he turned to Paige. “The guests have all left so let’s go to bed and leave the staff to clean up,” he said, taking her hand led her towards the house and inside.
